Ed and Helen I watched her take his hand,as a smile came to his face.Over 66 years of love.A stroke could not erase.Her frail body,Ridden with the cancer that grew inside.It was hard for her to be there.But their Love could not be denied.Her in a wheel chair.Him in bed.This was not what they had in mind,the day that they were wed.She said " God has been good to us,he's given us many wonderful years."As she smiled I could see,she was fighting back the tears.Such love is found so rarely,in this big wide world of ours.I think God must have honored them.By giving them their own star.So as you look to the heavens on anyspecial night.Look for the star that shines the brightest.For it's Ed and Helen's,Special light.
